Consultation & Supervision
Consultation and supervision services are offered to mental health professionals seeking thoughtful clinical guidance, professional development, and support with specialized or complex work. Services are provided within a collaborative, reflective framework that respects each clinician’s scope of practice, training background, and professional goals.
Consultation Services
Consultation is available to licensed mental health professionals seeking support with immigration-related clinical work and broader professional development. A primary focus includes consultation on immigration psychological evaluations, including case conceptualization, ethical considerations, cultural formulation, and role clarity at the intersection of clinical and legal contexts. Consultation may support clinicians working with asylum cases, extreme hardship waivers (I-601 / I-601A), VAWA petitions, U visas, T visas, cancellation of removal, and N-648 cases. Emphasis is placed on trauma-informed practice, clinical documentation, and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Consultation is designed to support clinical thinking and decision-making and does not include legal advice or report co-signing.
Consultation is also available for clinicians seeking professional development support, including diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, integration of evidence-based approaches, and navigating complex clinical or systems-level challenges.
Supervision Services
Supervision is offered to clinicians when permitted by licensure and regulatory guidelines. Supervision focuses on clinical skill development, ethical practice, case conceptualization, and reflective clinical work. Supervision relationships are structured to support growth, accountability, and clinical competence, with attention to cultural context and professional identity.
Who Is This For?
These services may be a good fit for licensed clinicians, pre-licensed clinicians (where permitted), and mental health professionals who are working with or interested in immigration-related evaluations, complex clinical presentations, or expanding their professional skill set. Consultation and supervision may be especially helpful for clinicians seeking to deepen their understanding of trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice or those navigating new roles, responsibilities, or areas of specialization.
